Germany - the host country of Euro 2024

The 17th edition of the European Football Championship will be hosted by Germany. With the German organization at the helm, each Euro 2024 location will adhere to UEFA standards, ensuring the best infrastructure for tourists to enjoy.

Out of the 53 teams lined up for the qualifiers, only 24 will compete in the final stage of Euro 2024. The tournament will consist of 6 groups of 4 teams each, establishing Euro 2024 as the top  European competition.

Between June 14 and July 14, 2024, football will reign in Europe! The Euro 2024 matches will be held in 10 stadiums across 10 cities. Here is the map of the Euro 2024 stadiums in Germany:

Olympic Stadium - Berlin

The biggest and renowned stadium of Euro 2024 is located in the German capital and will host matches spanning from the group stage to the round of 16, quarter-finals and, most importantly, the big final on July 14th. True to its name, it has Olympic-sized dimensions and a capacity of 70,000 seats.

Cologne Stadium - Köln

Also known as Köln Stadium, it is a recent sports arena with a capacity of 47,000 seats. It is a multifunctional stadium, which also hosts hockey matches, women's football and American football. At Euro 2024, it will hold 4 group matches and one for Round of 16.

BVB Stadium - Dortmund

The famous yellow and black arena, in honor of the Borussia Dortmund team, is one of the most famous stadiums of Europe and of course, it is included at Euro 2024. More than 60,000 spectators will gather here to support their favorite teams during group matches, a round of 16 match and one semi-final.

Düsseldorf Arena - Düsseldorf

This Euro 2024 stadium boasts 54,000 seats and was recently upgraded. Absent from the 2006 World Cup stadium list, the Düsseldorf Arena will host 3 games in the group stage, a round of 16 match and a quarter-final at Euro 2024.

Frankfurt Arena - Frankfurt

With nearly a century of tradition, modern facilities and a profound love for the beautiful game, the atmosphere at the Frankfurt stadium is unparalleled. Known as the Eintracht Arena, it will host no less than 5 matches at Euro 2024 (4 group stage matches and one round of 16 match).

Arena Aufschalke - Gelsenkirchen

Schalke 04, a team with a storied history, is renowned for its impressive stadium featuring a retractable roof and top-notch playing surface. It has a capacity of 54,000 seats and will host 4 matches at Euro 2024 (3 from the group stage and a Round 16 match).

Volksparkstadion - Hamburg

Another stadium with tradition, the Volksparkstadion was modernized in the early 2000s and today it is a high standard arena. It has hosted many matches in European and international competitions. Adding to the list, 5 matches from Euro 2024 will take place in Hamburg, in group stage and quarter-finals.

Representing the essence of East Germany, this modern stadium, built on the site of the legendary Zentral Stadion, stands as a symbol. The new arena has 42,000 seats and at Euro 2024, it will host 3 group games and one match for the Round of 16.

München Football Arena - Munich

The cathedral of German football, Bayern Munich's stadium is one of the star arenas at Euro 2024. It has a capacity of 70,000 seats and football fans will watch no less than 6 matches here: 4 group matches, a Round of 16 and a Semi-final.

This stadium, originally built in the 1970s and continually modernized over the years, has been witness to numerous golden moments in European football. Today, it stands as a modern arena with a seating capacity of 54,000. The Stuttgart Arena will host 5 matches at Euro 2024: 4 group matches and one Quarter-final.
